Kim Stone is a seasoned lawyer and lobbyist who has run her own boutique lobbying firm since 2017. She represents clean energy, environmental, good government, prosecutors,  health, and tech clients. Before opening her own practice, Kim lobbied for and then ran a trade association. With a track record of success in both promoting affirmative legislation and killing bad bills, she is a both collaborator and a fierce advocate. Her insight and experience, along with an expert understanding of California politics and policy, allow her to provide direct, strategic advice. Before entering politics, Kim worked as both a state and federal prosecutor and also lived and worked for five years in La Ceiba, Honduras, where she co-founded a micro credit organization providing loans to poor women in rural Honduras. She is a graduate of Stanford University and Stanford University School of Law, a parent of two grown children, and an enthusiastic open water swimmer and road biker.
